The main floor is all pine wood flooring with the exception of the entrance and Kitchen which are easy care ceramic tile. The custom maple kitchen has ample cupboards and here you can whip up dinner with ease as it is well equipped. Your guests can help or they can simple sit in the adjoining room and enjoy the breathtaking view of the lake.
The Great Room has an incredible 20 foot cathedral ceiling with a full window wall viewing the lake, and since the cottage is elevated, the view of the lake from the cottage and outside deck facing the lake is nothing short of spectacular. You may find yourself gazing out over this unobstructed view of the lake every chance you get! The wood finishings on the main floor are spectacular and the log beams are unusually large.
The main floor master bedroom is 600 square feet with a huge ensuite bathroom with steam-shower style and a King size bed. And you can enjoy that first cup of morning java on the full balcony with French doors, or in the sitting area off the master bedroom over looking the main room with a view of the window wall and lake. It doesn't get much better than that!
The 2 main floor bedrooms are carpet for your comfort and each has a double bed.
The large side deck is covered making it a perfect spot to sit and enjoy a book or just good company when you want to have a quiet place out of the sun and there is a small outside overhanging deck at the front of the cottage as well. Or you can walk down to a private deck that over looks the lake and then down a set of stairs to a floating dock. The biggest decision you may have to make is hmmm which deck?
Downstairs is mostly carpeted, has some ceramic tile and features a TV room and ping pong table and 2 of the bedrooms. One bedroom has a queen size bed and the other has a combo bunk - double on the bottom and single on the top.
Virtue Lake is a very quiet and calm lake with water temperatures that are a bit warmer than most lakes. The lake provides access to a much bigger lake Horseshoe Lake, giving you the best of both worlds.
Nothing beats an evening of roasting marshmallows over the firepit, or sitting in the HOT TUB, while watching the colours of the sky change over the lake.There may not be a sunset but you will find that the sunrise from the deck in the morning with a coffee is just as spectacular.

There's a small Bunkie which is used for extra storage only. There is also a HOT TUB to enjoy. There is a marina on Horse Shoe Lake called Horse Shoe Pines Marina.

There is also a public access ramp for watercraft on Horseshoe Lake. Part way down there's a large waterfront deck. There are about 95 stairs to the waterfront.
