Property Description Ideally situated with a southern exposure on Sugar Lake, this nicely appointed A-frame cottage is 1,400 square feet of vacation paradise. Its open concept allow the outdoor light to brighten the entire living space, bringing the outdoors 'indoors'. The large windows provide an excellent view of Sugar lake, and you can enjoy the summer evenings outside at the fire-pit or on the bedroom balcony with Plexiglas panels so that your moonlight view is clear. You might even get a glimpse of the moons' reflection on the lake surface.Take your morning java down the stone steps to the lake front and relax while the kids are in for their pre-breakfast swim, or view the islands and shoreline from the paddle-boat or rowboat. The 'back' yard is level and there is a gazebo in a private setting so that you can hide away for some 'me' time. The cottage interior is bright and spacious, very nicely decorated, and the newly renovated kitchen is a delight to use. The floors are hardwood and the walls are pine, providing a real comfy ambiance. The wood burning fireplace is not only lovely to look at but it takes a chill out of a fall day. There are 3 bedrooms, (1) has a queen size bed and is on the main floor, (2) a double and 2 singles upstairs, (3) a double and a double futon upstairs. The living room has a double pull-out sectional for extra accommodations. The bathroom is a 3-pc with shower, no tub. The outdoor Hot Tub and wood fired Sauna will make ANY day complete regardless of the season. But what a bonus to have during the WINTER months! Sugar Lake provides endless snow-shoeing and cross-country skiing opportunities. After a few hours outside relax those muscles in the hot tub or sauna, then curl up with a good book in front of the fire. Sugar Lake cottage is popular with extended families and kids!
