Property Description This lovely log cottage and the summer Bunkie on Little Whitefish Lake is ideal for the extended family looking for a quiet but fun-filled vacation. The cottage itself sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms with 1 queen size bed, a combo bunk in the second bedroom and a single bed in the third bedroom. The living room has a double futon, for a maximum of 8 in the cottage. The Bunkie sleeps an additional 4 in High Season only, with a combo bunk and single bed.There is an outdoor Hot-Tub on the deck and a new wood-fired Sauna at the edge of the lake - ideal view of Little Whitefish! This lot is just slightly elevated with easy access to the lake front. The shoreline exposes the richness of the granite that is partially exposed. The water depth is about 4 feet at the end of the dock and at the shoreline it is shallow with a soft sand and stony bottom. The waterfront deck adjoins the dock and you just seem to migrate to the lake front views first thing in the morning. In the evening you can enjoy the crackling of the fire-pit or the dark of the night while viewing the stars - you may even see several 'falling stars'! Or you may enjoy watching the moon shine on the lake with a glimmer. Little Whitefish Lake is ideal for the paddle-boat and will provide you with hours of relaxation, and the dip in the lake will cool you off. The interior of the cottage is tastefully finished, has warm knotty pine walls and is nicely furnished. It has slightly vaulted ceilings and hardwood flooring throughout. The Muskoka Stone wood burning fireplace ensures comfort on the cooler fall days and during the winter months - grab a book and curl up after your come in from a day of snowmobiling - the trails are within 500 feet of the property.
