Property Description This lovely 1650 sq. foot cottage on the Moon River is bright and spacious, and ideal for families. The living area, dining and kitchen are open concept, with knotty pine cathedral ceilings and lots of windows looking out onto the River. Just off the main area and kitchen is a sunroom with wall to wall windows on 2 sides so you have a fantastic view of the lake and the trees beside you. There is a French door from the sunroom that takes you out to the wrap around deck.The living area has ample comfortable seating, a propane fireplace to take the chill out of spring and fall nights. Or in the heat of the summer, relax in the comfort of central air. The TV has Hi Definition Satellite, Blue Ray DVD and surround sound. And if you need to keep in touch with the office or just want to surf for fun, there is wireless High Speed. The floors are hardwood throughout, and the kitchen has a skylight adding even more light. It is a dream to work in, especially the old fashioned gas stove! And there's lots of room for everyone to pitch in! For the observers however, there is a kitchen bar with 3 bar chairs. The master bedroom with a queen bed is at the front of the cottage, has French doors leading out to the wrap around deck and provides a fabulous view of Moon River - and a great place for your morning java and a gentle wake-up. The ensuite is a 3 piece with a glass shower. The second bedroom is at the side of the cottage and has a queen bed, the 3rd bedroom is at the back and has 2 singles and a bay window. The grounds of this Moon River cottage are well cared for and nicely landscaped. And the waterfront of this cottage is fabulous. There is a floating dock about 10' x 20' in size, easy boat docking, and accessed by a ramp 8' x 10'. If your small children want a beach, there is Jaspen Park just 2 minutes down the road - equipped with swing sets, slides etc. This Bala Cottage is ideal for small families who want to be close to town yet feel like you are miles and miles away.
