Property Description

Also known as LAKESIDE, this lovely 4 bedroom family cottage is on an elevated property providing a magnificent view of Bass Lake.  It is very nicely decorated and imparts a warm and cozy feeling.  The living/dining area is open concept with a gas fireplace and a patio door leading to the decking which provides a wonderful view of Bass Lake. The master bedroom has a small deck (3 ft x 15 ft) overlooking the lake and is on the 2nd level along with another bedroom with a queen bed.  The main floor bathroom has a soaker tub and separate shower.  The lower level has a walk out to a screened in flagstone patio, along with a sleeping area with a double bed. 

There is a delightful Bunkie that has hardwood floors, a ceiling fan, baseboard heating, a king size bed and a loft with a single mattress.  Ideal for providing some independence, it has a bar fridge, microwave, 2-pc bathroom, TV/DVD and Satellite and provides sleeping for 3. 

The swimming is excellent off the dock where the water level is about 4-5 feet. Exposure is east and the access to the lake is down a set of stairs.

Located just off Hwy. 69 makes this cottage easily accessible, summer or winter. Bass Lake Restaurant is within easy walking distance.  Snowmobile trails are practically at your door.

Bunkie has a king bed and a single mattress in the loft, paddleboat, some lifejackets provided - various sizes, boat rentals can be arranged nearby if desired. Lake Joseph is across the road providing you with access to 3 of the largest lakes in Muskoka (Muskoka, Rosseau, Joseph)

POINTS OF INTEREST: Port Carling is the home of Annual Muskoka Antique Show as well as many artisan studios and galleries. It is a delightful 'touristy' town to walk around, shop, browse or just to sit with an ice cream cone - and it's always fun to watch the boats pass by!

TERRAIN: Cottage is elevated on the lake side and there is a solid set of stairs leading to the lake. There is parking for 3 vehicles.
