1. Charles W. Stockey Centre for the Performing Arts

3. Bobby Orr Hall of Fame
The accomplishments of Parry Sound's favourite son are chronicled and celebrated in the Bobby Orr Hall of Fame, housed in the Charles W. Stockey Centre for the Performing Arts. Learn about Bobby's beginnings in the town of Parry Sound, his meteoric rise to hockey superstardom, and his continuing legacy of greatness. See memorabilia like the stick and puck he used to score the Stanley Cup-winning goal of 1970, his original locker from the Boston Gardens, two of his Stanley Cup rings and much more. 6. Festival of the Sound
During the summer of 1979, renowned pianist Anton Kuerti purchased a summer home near Parry Sound and organized three concerts by outstanding Canadian musicians. The enthusiastic response to these programs inspired him to propose an annual concert series. Local residents accepted the challenge, and the FESTIVAL OF THE SOUND formed a Board of Directors and became a non-profit corporation with Mr. Kuerti as Artistic Director. The 1980 FESTIVAL OF THE SOUND (FOTS) marked the beginning of Ontario's first annual international summer classical music festival.
